PROBLEM:
I don’t know about you but as we come towards the end of each quarter, we always take a little more time to review our results.
So many business owners tell me they’re so incredibly busy inside their business that they’re stunned at how quickly each quarter goes by. “Wow, that’s another 3 months gone!”, “that was quick!” and similar comments become familiar sounds.
And it’s true – things seem to speed up and the days, weeks, months and quarters fly by.
And often with them – our goals and plans fly by, lost in the busy-ness of work and keeping everything going.
Some of the problems/obstacles to achieving your results include:
- demand
- the push/pull of the work that needs to be done every day
- uncertainty around prioritising
- just getting everything done
- fixing things that go wrong

and then we look at the calendar and see the end of another quarter rapidly approaching.
It’s stressful – especially if you start a new quarter full of hope and plans for what you’ll actually get done and how different things will be at the end.
