SUBSCRIPTION TERMS
1 – Free Trial
We do not offer a free trial.
2 – Subscription
The subscription for your membership renews automatically at the end of each period (each week, month, 6 months, year, or otherwise, depending on the option selected by you at the time of purchase) until you cancel. Our memberships are generally monthly (unless otherwise indicated) and will recur automatically until you cancel.
3 – Payment method
Payment will be charged to the payment method you submitted at the time of purchase at confirmation of purchase. You authorize us to charge the applicable subscription fees to the payment method that you submit.
If there are any issues with your payment/your card is expiring/your card is replaced we will contact you to ensure the continuation of your membership/subscription and all benefits. Failure to make the payment within 7 days is likely to result in your membership being cancelled. It is your responsibility to ensure that your subscription is paid in a timely manner. If you need to make changes please contact us at mary@marycollin.co.uk and we will get one of our team to follow up with you.This is important for all our members and particularly important if you are a VIP member.
4 – Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription anytime by emailing mary@marycollin.co.uk with the message ‘Cancel my subscription’.Cancelling your subscription means that the automatic renewal will be made ‘inactive’ ensuring no further payments will be taken, but you will still have access to all your subscription features for the remaining time of your then-current period. Note that opting out/unsubscribing to emails/deleting the app/your presence in the portal does NOT cancel your subscriptions. As your subscriptions are collected through a third party payment gateway you need to give us at least several days notice to ensure that future collections are not taken. If you fail to give us sufficient notice please be aware that this may result in your membership continuing for another month. Cancellations are not processed over weekends or UK bank holidays.
As we use a payment gateway, please consider that there may be a delay between you notifying us, us picking up the notification in working hours, and giving instructions to the payment gateway to cancel your subscription. So a 3-5 days notice (minimum) BEFORE your renewal date helps us to avoid this.
NOTE: when your cancellation is processed, you will retain access to your membership benefits until the renewal date, when you will be exited.
NOTE FOR VIP Memberships:
Remember that you will lose any VIP member benefits including fixed rate for life, guaranteed rate, etc if you cancel. If you decide to re-join later you will be joining as a ‘Member’ – at the prevailing rate at the time of your re-joining, and all previous VIP membership benefits will have been relinquished at the time of your exit. They cannot be reinstated once you relinquish them.
5 – Changes
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable laws, we may change subscription fees at any time unless you have a membership with guaranteed fixed rates for life – as long as you remain a member in good standing.
We will give you reasonable notice of any such pricing changes by posting the new prices on the app and/or by sending you an email notification, or in other prominent way. If you do not wish to pay the new fees, you can cancel the applicable subscription prior to the change going into effect.
This does not apply to VIP Members who have signed up at a guaranteed, fixed rate for life membership. Your benefits are retained for as long as you continue to remain a member in good standing.
6 – Refunds
Except when required by law, we will not refund any transaction once it has been made. When you purchase, you acknowledge and agree that all membership subscription purchases are non-refundable and/or non-exchangeable. Refunds are not available for late cancellations where you have failed to notify your cancellation to us in sufficient time to process your cancellation
(see 4 – Cancellation).
Note for EU residents
If you are an EU resident, you have the right to withdraw from service agreement without charge and without giving any reason within fourteen (14) days from the date of such agreement conclusion, unless you provided consent to an immediate agreement performance.
YOU HEREBY EXPRESSLY CONSENT AND ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE PERFORMANCE OF THE
AGREEMENT BEGINS IMMEDIATELY AND YOU WILL LOSE YOUR RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL FROM THE AGREEMENT ONCE OUR SERVERS VALIDATE YOUR PURCHASE AND THE APPLICABLE PURCHASE IS SUCCESSFULLY DELIVERED TO YOU.
Therefore, unless the Service is defective, you will not be eligible for a refund in relation to digital goods and services.
