It’s time to look at one of the most important cornerstones of your business again – your FINANCIALS.  

THE PROBLEM:

You’ve probably heard me rant about why I despair of seeing so many businesses running their financials linked to HMRC and government deadlines rather than their own.

It’s crazy to me that – as business owners we are responsible for the financial management of our business – but so often we’re allowing our professional advisers (who we pay) to dictate the late pace of activity.

You’ll know exactly what I mean if you and your accountant are chasing each other down in January to get the tax returns in ‘on time’.  That’s just plain crazy . . . and insane if you want to get some really great advice from your professional advisers.  They’re all crazy busy in January.

Why?  Because they are not thinking ahead and often that means they’re not helping YOU as a business owner to think and plan ahead.

THE SOLUTION:

This is SO simple I find it hard to believe that so many people don’t do this.

  1. First – get your free copy of our “FINANCIAL ACCELERATOR PLAN:  2 Steps to Financial Growth & Freedom”.  
  1. Then personalise the 2 steps (2 parts) 
    1. Part 1 covers what you do EVERY MONTH like checking you’ve paid your bills on time and you’ve collected in monies due to you.  This is where you’ll also be looking at your VAT & tax figures and setting aside money for VAT & TAX every month.  It’s not your money so keep it separate!)
    2. Part 2 lists everything else that’s important to your business, month by month.  so you only need to skip to the relevant month and ignore the other 11 months once you’ve personalised.

That’s it . . . each month you review Part 1 and Part 2 (the month you’re in).

If you haven’t done this yet then maybe now is the right time for you to take control of your finances and sleep easier at night knowing you’ve got it all under control.  Customise it once, use it forever.  Change it’s structure only when you need to (if you change your VAT registration status, change your financial year end or something similar).

It can be much easier to really be in the driving seat of your finances than so many make it.

What’s the most powerful way to start a LinkedIn post?

By writing about a specific result your audience wants to achieve. 

For example:

“One of my clients gained 30,000 followers in 48 hours.”

Or:

“One of my clients closed $105,000 in high-ticket sales in 45 days.”

Notice how specific those are. That’s powerful, isn’t it?

Well, that’s exactly how Charles Miller started his post.

And, on top of that, he ended the post with a P.S. about the services that allow him to achieve those types of results for his clients.

That’s the anatomy of a post that sells on LinkedIn. 

Because it begins with something the audience wants. 

And it ends with the author presenting himself as the solution. 

More than that, the post is not a direct pitch. It’s more of a subtle hint, but strong enough to actually bring in conversions.

How specific can you be about them? 

Write them down, and use the same structure that Charles used for this post right here.
