Does your sales pipeline directly align with your goals and business? Is it easy for you/anyone else to understand and implement?

The problem is that too many businesses give their sales pipeline little to no attention past getting the client on a phone call or closing them. They focus so much on closing they don’t consider the steps involved. Sales takes multiple touch points and should be a machine that affects everything you ever share.

The first thing to do is write down all the steps currently in your sales process.

Then look at how many touches (ie actual connections with your prospects) are in your process.

Then review how well that’s working for you and review which steps or stages could be improved.

It takes 6 to 8 touches depending on your industry to actually get your desired action from a potential client.

It’s as simple as that.

Let me tell you why it works:

Because when you directly address something that your audience is wishing to achieve, they’ll pay attention in the hopes that you can actually help them.

The first step you need to take is to understand what your audience’s wishes actually are.

If you don’t know that, ask them. Having a 1-to-1 conversation with 5-10 people will bring you more insights than anything you read online.

And it will also make you a better content creator.
